Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a Part Time & Relief Support Worker to join the Metges Road service. This role supports individuals to develop independent living skills and participate in person-centred plans, with a focus on dignity and respect.

The role involves working with Team Leaders, implementing support programmes, promoting safety, and adhering to medication policies where needed. Sleep-ins are required occasionally, with additional payment per night.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.

• Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Work with Team Leaders to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a safe environment and manage challenging situations using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication stored and administered in line with policy where necessary.
• Record and log information according to reporting guidelines.
• Attend training and be aware of all service policies including Health & Safety.
