Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Ireland. You will empower individuals to develop independent living skills and work with Team Leaders to implement tailored support plans. The role requires flexibility to cover full-time, part-time and relief patterns, with pay based on 39 hours FTE and pro-rated hours as needed.

Responsibilities include safeguarding, logging essential information, and adhering to policies while supporting clients with respect and compassion.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience working within the health and social care field desirable.
• Full valid ROI/EU/UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Prepare and implement individual and group support programmes with Team Leaders.
• Promote a safe living and working environment and manage conflicts using appropriate language and techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered per Praxis Care’s Medication Policy where needed.
• Record and log relevant information according to service reporting guidelines.
• Attend training and adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures in the service.
