The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) is inviting applications for part‑time Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) in South Kilkenny (Thomastown to Ferrybank). The role involves assisting Members in daily living at their homes and in the community, with a 10‑hour per week schedule and varied hours including early/late shifts.

Salary ranges from €16.54 to €18.39 per hour, with enhanced rates for evenings, Sundays, and public holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a caring role.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Access to own car and full driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Assist Members with personal care and daily living activities.
• Provide domestic, social, and educational support and companionship.
• Support travel within homes and communities of Members; work in Members' homes.
• Coordinate with ALS Coordinator/Scheduling staff.
