The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) invites applications for Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) covering Dundalk, Drogheda, Ardee surrounds and nearby areas. These roles are 20 hours per week with flexible shifts, including every 2nd weekend and potential cross-area travel.

Hourly rates range from €16.52 to €18.39, with enhanced rates before 8am/after 8pm (€20.65) and Sunday (€24.78) and public holidays (€33.04). Driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualificações

• QQI Level 5 in Community Health Services or Health Service Skills is essential.
• Experience of working with people in a caring role is essential.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and always maintain confidentiality.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care, domestic assistance, social/educational support, travel and companionship to members.
• Deliver care in the homes and communities of our Members.
