Accountancy Solutions is seeking a commercially minded Part-Time Accountant to take responsibility for the financial management of an event over a 2-year period, from planning through to delivery and final reporting. The role collaborates closely with the Operations Lead to keep the event financially controlled and on track.

Ideal candidates will be a Chartered Accountant with budgeting, forecasting and cost-control experience, and able to translate financial information into clear guidance for

• Qualified Accountant with professional designation.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple costs, suppliers and deadlines.
• Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in events, hospitality or similar project-based environments.
• Experience with forecasting and variance analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the overall event budget.
• Work with Operations Lead to set budgets across suppliers, staffing, venues, and production.
• Monitor expenditure against budget and identify overspends.
• Prepare periodic forecasts and final cost reporting.
• Produce financial reports for stakeholders and post-event final report.
• Provide financial guidance during planning meetings and decisions.
