Job summary

The Panel is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 12-15 month contract. You will join a global organisation known for its technical expertise, customer focus and long-standing reputation in delivering essential solutions across multiple industries.

You will support a busy treasury and finance function in an international, multi-currency environment, handling reporting, reconciliations and process improvements while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate accounting within a large multinational.
• Ability to interpret and explain treasury-related financial information.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with SAP considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly group reporting including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Support consolidation activities and analyse group financial results.
• Carry out intercompany reconciliations and maintain strong accounting controls.
• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including VAT, bank reconciliations, and treasury system support.

Our global client is seeking a talented Accountant on a 12-15 Month Contract. You will join a global organisation known for its technical expertise, customer focus and long-standing reputation in delivering essential solutions across multiple industries. In this role you will support a busy treasury and finance function within an international, multi-currency environment, where accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement are highly valued. The position will suit a detail-driven finance professional who enjoys a mix of reporting, reconciliation, systems support and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly group reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reports, cash flow statements and accruals
• Support semi-annual consolidation activities and analyse group financial results, including interest, income and other financial items
• Carry out monthly intercompany reconciliations and help maintain strong control over accounting records
• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including VAT, tax matters, bank account reconciliations and automated accounting simulations
• Act as a key link between treasury management and accounting systems, while supporting audit, budgeting, forecasting and treasury process improvement projects

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
• Experience in corporate accounting within a large multinational business, ideally in a multi-currency environment.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles, with the ability to interpret and explain treasury-related financial information
• Excellent Excel skills, with SAP experience considered a distinct advantage
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and a high standard of professional ethics
