Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our founding Irish sales team. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by prospecting and generating leads, serving as the first point of contact between potential customers and the Lightspeed brand.

This role can be based from Dublin or Cork and requires building knowledge of the hospitality industry to inform outreach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales or call centre environment.
• Solid grasp of sales development best practices, including lead qualification, pipeline management, and outbound prospecting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with customer-focused solutions.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
• Proficient with CRM tools to organise pipelines and track activity.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage businesses within our ICP at scale, using cold calling as the primary channel, alongside email and social selling to create additional touch points.
• Generate qualified sales meetings with relevant decision-makers, with a focus on securing high-quality, in-person meetings for Account Executives.
• Build in-depth knowledge of the Irish hospitality industry, including trends, challenges, and competitor activity to inform outreach strategy.
• Identify and research high-potential prospects within your assigned region using market insights and data-driven tools.
• Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to ensure high-quality sales opportunities.
• Book meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth and professional handover process.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, tracking prospect interactions, pipeline activity, and lead status.
