Job summary

ASM in Ireland is seeking an Operations Specialist to support and improve day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and service excellence. You will liaise between internal teams, strategic spares account managers, logistics and stakeholders to drive operational effectiveness and business results.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in a high-tech environment, a bachelor’s degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, customer service, logistics, or a related business function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using ERP, CRM, or operational management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support daily operational activities to ensure business continuity and service delivery.
• Monitor operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, analyze, interpret and publish operational data and performance metrics.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on operational performance.
• Support operational projects, system implementations, and organizational initiatives.
• Track project milestones, action items, and deliverables.
• Assist with change management activities and user adoption efforts.
• Coordinate testing, training, and process documentation for new initiatives.
