Job summary

The Salthill Hotel in Galway is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to oversee the Night Porter team and support the Nights Manager, ensuring smooth night-time operations with a guest-centric approach.

You will manage night shifts, train porters, perform Night Audit tasks and liaise with front office and other departments to resolve issues, while maintaining high service standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the night porter team and ensure duties are performed to standard.
• Train new night porters and update SOPs as required.
• Conduct Night Audit processes and relevant reporting.
• Coordinate with front office and other departments to resolve issues.
• Manage security, safety walks and incident reporting during night shift.
• Ensure guest requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
