Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated Night Operations Lead to ensure smooth hotel runs and outstanding guest service overnight. You will manage night audits, front desk duties, and the Night Porters team, while upholding health and safety standards and first aid readiness.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in night or reception roles, strong hospitality knowledge, and proficiency with Opera and Brilliant Front Office systems. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar night or reception role.
• Excellent knowledge of the hotel business.
• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera.
• Knowledge and experience of using the Brilliant electronic front office system.
• Strong leadership and development skills.
• Excellent organisational and delegation abilities.
• Warm, friendly and approachable with guests and staff.
• Able to work on initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth, efficient night-time hotel operations and high-level customer service.
• Handle guest inquiries/complaints and resolve on the spot.
• Oversee health and safety at night (fire walks, security checks, first aid).
• Perform front office duties, run night audit, manage check-ins/outs.
• Lead the Night Porters team and nightly tasks.
• Oversee Food & Beverage service at night (Bar and Room service).
• Lead the team toward goals via audits and quality measures.
• Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned and set up for the next day.
• Develop the Night team and prepare them for career progression.
• Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel.
