Job summary

The Salthill Hotel in Galway is seeking a Night Porter to support overnight operations across front and back of house, including reception, housekeeping duties, and some bar service for residents.

The ideal candidate will be well presented with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work on their own initiative, delivering proactive guest care throughout the night shift.

Here at The Salthill Hotel we have an exciting vacancy for a Night Porter to assist in the overnight operations of our hotel. The role will include working both front and back of house - reception, housekeeping duties and some bar service for our hotel residents.

The right applicant will be well presented with excellent communication skills and an ability to work on their own initiative.

Your Responsibilities:

• To great all guests in a warm and a friendly manner
• To adhere to all Company policies including Customer Care, Fire Safety, Cash Handling plus follow all hotel protocols for Health & Safety measures
• Ensuring the lobby and public areas are kept clean and presentable at all times
• Ensuring hotel exterior including car park are kept clean.
• Ensuring all reasonable guests requirements are met promptly and professionally.

Your Profile:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Be Fluent in English
