Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated Night Receptionist in Dublin to support the smooth operation of our hotels and deliver top-tier guest service during night hours.

You will manage inquiries, assist with night audits, and work with the Night Porters to ensure safety and efficiency. We value hospitality experience and proficiency in Opera and Brilliant FO systems, with a focus on leadership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar night or reception role.
• Excellent knowledge of the hotel business.
• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of Brilliant electronic front office system.
• Excellent leadership and development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night shifts while delivering the highest level of customer service.
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain health and safety standards at night, including fire walks and security checks.
• Perform front office duties including night audit, guest check-in and check-out.
• Collaborate with the Night Porters and oversee their nightly tasks.
• Provide food and beverage service to guests during night hours.
• Support the team with mystery audits, guest feedback indexes and quality evaluations.
• Aid in developing the Night team for career progression.
• Contribute insights to the hotel’s strategic night-time operations.
