Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Night Porter to support front office and hotel operations in Ireland. You will check guests in and out, assist with luggage, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment while following safety procedures.

You will be part of a friendly team, receive training through the Dalata Academy, and have opportunities for growth as we promote from within. Experience with customers, good English, strong organization, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests as required, and assist with guest requests regarding luggage/porterage.
• Responsible for cleaning hotel areas including lobby, back office, stairs, restaurant/bar floor, public and staff areas and meeting room floor.
• Responsible for cleaning other areas as directed by the manager on duty and per the nightly checklist (e.g., set-up of function rooms, breakfast area).
• Maintain front entrance and outside hotel cleanliness at all times (empty bins, pick up rubbish).
• Understand and follow the hotels’ fire procedures to ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Set up meeting rooms as required.
