Qualifications

• QFA qualification is essential.
• Experience as Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Consultant in brokerage or banking.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish mortgage market and lender criteria.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients throughout the mortgage journey from initial enquiry through to loan drawdown.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-finds to understand financial circumstances and borrowing objectives.
• Provide tailored mortgage advice across a wide range of lending products for FTBs, movers, switchers, investors and self-build.
• Prepare, package and submit mortgage applications with complete, accurate documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing regular updates and exceptional service.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, valuers and third parties to progress applications to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage clients throughout the mortgage journey from initial enquiry through to loan drawdown.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-finds to understand each client's financial circumstances and borrowing objectives.
• Provide tailored mortgage advice across a wide range of lending products, including first-time buyers, movers, switchers, investors and self-build customers.
• Prepare, package and submit mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate and fully compliant.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, valuers and other third parties to ensure applications progress efficiently through to completion.

Key Skills & Experience

• QFA qualification (essential).
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Consultant within a brokerage or banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish mortgage market and lender criteria.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a busy pipeline while delivering exceptional attention to detail.

Desirable

• APA Loans or additional financial services qualifications.
• Experience working within a high-volume mortgage brokerage.
• Strong understanding of AML, CPC and regulatory compliance.
