Job summary

Irish Red Cross is seeking a Migration Services Caseworker in Dublin to support refugees under Ukraine Pledge Accommodation and other resettlement initiatives. The role focuses on needs assessment, casework support, and placement into pledged accommodation, with governance under GDPR and effective data tracking.

The position is a fixed-term full-time contract (6 months) with a 35-hour week, based in Dublin, with possible remote work across the country and travel to Dublin as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face client work and/or casework.
• Experience in direct case work/management supporting migrants.
• Ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide casework services to refugees and others in IRC programmes.
• Engage with BoTPs, IRPP refugees, or Gaza Minors participants to assess needs and match into pledged accommodation.
• Deliver tiered resettlement support from signposting to full casework.
• Coordinate with pledgers, clients and partner organisations for accommodation moves.
• Maintain accurate records, case notes and correspondence.
• Attend trainings and meetings; travel as required.
