SUMMARY OF ROLE

The initiative supports children evacuated from Gaza for specialised medical treatment in Ireland, together with their immediate families.
The IRC provides comprehensive non‑medical support to participating families, including temporary accommodation, case management, orientation and assistance in accessing education, social protection and other essential services. Following medical clearance, families are supported to transition from temporary accommodation in Dublin to more sustainable housing across Ireland. The programme takes a holistic approach to supporting families’ wellbeing, integration and progression towards greater independence while the children continue to receive necessary medical care.
