Job summary

Migrant Rights Centre Ireland seeks an Labour Exploitation Caseworker to provide information, guidance, and direct representation to migrant workers facing labour exploitation. You will work with staff to screen cases, advise on employment rights, and refer to appropriate bodies.

Responsibilities include assisting with employment permits, immigration matters and social welfare, as well as assessing potential trafficking cases and documenting referrals to HTICU where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in advocacy or casework within immigration or employment rights.
• Ability to assess needs, risks and provide supported responses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, guidance and representation to migrant workers on labour rights.
• Assist with workplace rights issues and referrals to relevant bodies.
• Screen and advise on employment rights queries and referrals to support services.
• Assess potential human trafficking cases and refer where needed.
