Job summary

Alternatives (Ireland) seeks a Membership Executive in Dublin for a 12-18 month fixed-term contract. You will support members through career and personal changes, guiding options and maintaining service standards.

You will work in the member services team, handling sensitive enquiries, applying policies, and helping improve processes and the member experience with new digital services.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in customer service, retention or membership services in a client-facing role.
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing reports and analyzing data with Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support members with enquiries relating to financial hardship, retirement, ill health and resignation.
• Assess membership fee reduction applications, apply policies fairly and communicate decisions clearly.
• Build trusted relationships and identify appropriate support to reduce churn.
• Manage complex cases with discretion and escalate exceptions with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor retention trends and contribute to reports and KPIs.
• Share knowledge and help improve processes, systems and the member experience.
