Job summary

Miele Ireland is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair commercial appliances across hospitals, laboratories and medical facilities in the Republic of Ireland.

You will diagnose faults, install and decommission professional equipment, and work with planners and service partners to ensure first-time fix rates. Experience with medical products or medical validation is preferred, with some travel and occasional overnight stays expected.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing faults on medical and professional appliances.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities with test equipment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills for field work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on washer disinfection, autoclave/steriliser appliances to a high standard.
• Install and decommission professional appliances in commercial/medical environments according to safety regulations.
• Deliver exceptional service experience while representing the Miele brand professionally in every interaction with customers.
• Maintain clear communication with planners, managers and service partners to support efficient service delivery and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate van stock, spare parts control and daily administration to support first-time fixes.
• Promote Miele care products, accessories, service contracts and maintenance solutions to customers.
• Participate in technical training to stay up-to-date with Miele products and diagnostic processes.
