Job summary

3 Sixty Resourcing is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for Cloughlea, Ireland. You will interpret CAD/ SolidWorks drawings, work with design to fit lean manufacturing, and support validation and testing of new designs or improvements.

The role focuses on continuous improvement to boost production efficiency and product quality, with a Tuesday-to-Friday schedule? and strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and site-wide process optimisation.

What's involved for the Manufacturing Engineer…

• Interpret CAD or SolidWorks drawings
• Collaborate with design and development engineering to ensure designs are suitable for a lean manufacturing environment
• Support NPD validation and testing of new designs or design improvements, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency and product quality
• Improve production efficiencies and maintain the product flow throughout the organisation.
• Analyse Build data - Review Shop floor build data. Identify problem areas and issues.
• Investigate and make recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the design of fixturing, tooling and handling equipment.
• Keep up to date with current manufacturing processes and maintain a good working knowledge of all product lines
• Deal with all non-conformances and ensure that all rejected purchase parts are correctly recorded

What you'll need…

• Strong manufacturing experience working within a project engineer, production engineer, manufacturing engineer role
• Experience of implementing factory projects
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient with Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Continuous improvement experience
• Experience within equipment manufacturing preferred but not essential
• 3D CAD or SolidWorks experience a distinct advantage but not essential
