Job summary

St. Michael’s House is seeking a Maintenance General Works Foreman to lead a small team in delivering high-quality property maintenance across its Dublin-area sites. The role requires carpentry trade qualification, several years’ experience in maintenance, and supervision abilities.

You will prioritise reactive works, assign tasks, and work with Estates Project Managers to deliver safe, compliant facilities. A 39-hour week and HSE pay scale apply.

Qualifications

• Recognised Trade Qualification i.e. Carpentry.
• 5 years working in a similar property maintenance role and supervising a team.
• Relevant health and safety training for maintenance works.
• Hold a valid “Safe Pass” card.
• Hold a Clean Driving Licence and own Vehicle for use in carrying out their role is essential.

Responsibilities

• As a Working Foreman, complete and/or assign various general maintenance works.
• Ensure reactive maintenance works are prioritised, completed, and closed out appropriately.
• To undertake additional duties as might reasonably be requested by line management (Estates Project Managers).
