St. Michael’s House in the greater Dublin Area is hiring a Maintenance General Operative to support the Grounds Foreman in completing grounds and gardening tasks across the organisation, working 39 hours per week on a fixed-term 3-year contract.

Candidates must have 3 years in a similar maintenance role, Safe Pass, a valid driving licence and own vehicle, plus health and safety training. The role includes benefits such as Sick Pay, Maternity Leave, Pension, and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 years working in a similar maintenance role
• Health and safety training appropriate for maintenance

Responsibilities

• Support the Grounds Foreman in completing grounds/gardening tasks
• Ensure works are completed and closed out appropriately
• Carry out additional duties as requested by line Management
