Job summary

Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project is seeking a Maintenance General Operative to maintain and improve Crosscare buildings across Dublin. The role reports to the Building & Maintenance Team Leader and focuses on cost-efficient delivery of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling and general works.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, good interpersonal skills, and a practical approach with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of building maintenance across trades.
• Experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
• Desirable health & safety exposure and driving qualifications.

Responsibilities

• General building duties across Dublin sites.
• Remove rubbish and materials from site; load/unload.
• Carry building materials and operate power tools.
• Undertake day-to-day maintenance and minor improvements.
• Ensure health & safety policies are followed.
