Job summary

BuildTech in Dublin is seeking an experienced Working Foreman/Lead Carpenter to take day-to-day ownership of live residential projects and lead site delivery to a high standard.

The role is hands-on and not purely managerial: you will oversee trades, plan works, manage materials and ensure safety, quality and progress on the project with support from the Construction Manager and team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years post-apprenticeship experience in residential carpentry or construction.
• Strong ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of residential projects and coordinate trades.
• Plan works ahead and manage sequence of trades to protect programme.
• Ensure safety, quality and site housekeeping meet high standards.
