Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop our housekeeping teams across our Dublin city centre hotels. You will drive cleanliness standards, inventory control, and inter-department coordination to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

We value professional, enthusiastic hospitality leaders with strong English communication, attention to detail, and a flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a managerial role in a busy hotel.
• Superb guest service and excellent people skills.
• Attention to detail in delivering customer care standards.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Able to multitask and help where required in all hotel areas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with initiative.
• Flexible for early starts, late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, ensuring standards and policies are followed.
• Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets for cleaning materials and equipment.
• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards with regular inspections and guest satisfaction focus.
• Coordinate with front desk and maintenance for seamless guest experiences and timely room turnover.
• Develop and enforce housekeeping procedures and safety/eco-friendly practices.
• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including occupancy, staff performance and budgets.
