Job summary

The Fitzwilliam Hospitality Group in Dublin is seeking a 5* Hotel Porter to warmly welcome guests and support the smooth operation of the lobby and guest services. You will greet guests, assist with check-in and luggage, and provide local guidance with excellent communication and a professional appearance.

Ideal candidates will hold a full driving licence, demonstrate flexibility, and bring prior customer service experience in luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a fully flexible schedule.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, friendly presence at the hotel entrance and lobby.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in, luggage and orientation.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver thoughtful touches.
• Assist with guest transportation as required.
• Offer information on local amenities and services.
• Assist with valet parking when required.
• Liaise with other departments to fulfil guest requests promptly.
• Keep staff informed about facilities, promotions and events.
• Communicate guest preferences to relevant teams.
• Support the Guest Services team during peak times or events.
• Maintain security and safety in the lobby and entrance area.
• Ensure luggage handling is secure and records are kept.
• Maintain a clean, tidy entrance and lobby and present professional grooming.
• Follow fire safety and health & safety procedures.
