Job summary

DP World in Limerick, Ireland seeks a Logistics Transport Planner to join the Control Tower team. You will liaise with management, internal support, warehouse operations, key account staff and third-party carriers to manage day-to-day planning and ensure on-time release of orders with ships dates to meet SLAs.

You will generate daily planning trackers, handle Order Management and Outbound Planning, and produce KPI-based reports. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service or logistics planning, ideally in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve issues with customers and internal teams.
• Fluency in oral and written English is essential.
• Detail-oriented and well-organised, with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or ticketing systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist others during peak volume and holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all orders are released into production in a timely manner and handed over to the carriers as per expected ship date to ensure SLA are met.
• Strong focus on communication and proactively report system/operational issues impacting customer shipments to DP World & customer teams and track through to resolution.
• Generate daily planning trackers and reports.
• Process Order Management and Outbound Planning
• Compiling, reviewing and actioning reporting suites for key account customers and DP World per KPI requirements.
• Verify KPI and SLA accuracy for outbound performance;
• Set up, check and reconcile incoming updates against WMS;
• Reconcile customer backlog daily and prepare daily updates for the customer
• Participate in weekly carrier & customer task meetings and monthly reviews & QBRs.
• Providing daily/weekly/monthly reporting suites from the DP World TMS system for required reporting.

As Logistics Transport Planner, you will work as part of the DP World Control Tower team, based in Limerick Ireland. You will liaise with management, internal support teams and warehouse operations within DP World – along with key account customer staff and our 3rd party carriers in managing day to day planning activities. You will ensure all orders are released into production in a timely manner and handed over to the carriers as per expected ship date to ensure SLA are met. Strong focus on communication and ensuring that any systems/operational issues impacting customer shipments are proactively reported to the relevant DP World & customer teams and tracked through to resolution. You will also be handling complex queries and focussing on driving high levels of customer satisfaction.

What you will bring

• Fluency in oral & written English is essential.
• Previous experience of at least two years in customer service or logistics planning, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and resolve issues with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to customer inquiries and challenges.
• Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or ticketing systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist other team members during peak volume and holiday periods.
