Job summary

MSD Dublin is seeking an Intern in Learning & Development to gain hands-on experience managing training operations within a biotech environment. You will support LMS queries, coordinate training sessions, and help build learning content while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage various training formats, and contribute to process improvements while developing skills in data analytics and digital learning tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or Business Administration with an interest in L&D.
• Familiarity with data analytics or digital learning tools is beneficial.
• Understanding of regulatory/compliance basics (cgmp, GDP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

You’ll help ensure training compliance, safety, and operational excellence through our Learning Management System (LMS).

Primary Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for LMS (myLearning) queries via the site mailbox and support users through our LMS clinic.
• Coordinate and credit training sessions using LMS and ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Build and maintain learning items, curricula, and job codes in the LMS.
• Collaborate with global LMS teams to resolve site‑specific queries and tasks.
• Upload and manage various training formats (e‑learning, instructor‑led, etc.) in LMS and Midas.
• Oversee Instructor Qualification tracking in LMS and MEDS.
• Ensure training documentation meets site standards and help others do the same.
• Generate and analyze training reports to support site learning goals.
• Review training metadata to ensure alignment with documentation and learning decisions.
• Assist in developing training materials such as job aids and visual guides.
• Contribute to process improvements in site training operations.
• Uphold global and regulatory standards, including cGMP, in all activities.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration across Biotech Dublin.

Qualification And Experience

Currently pursuing a degree in

• Human Resources, Learning and Development, or Business Administration with an interest in L&D
• Data Analytics, Digital Learning, Computer Science, or related technology fields
