Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to lead financial reporting and fund administration oversight, with emphasis on real estate and private credit structures.

You will liaise with external fund administrators, coordinate capital activity, and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance across portfolios. The role requires strong analytical capability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple fund structures and reporting timelines while supporting investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA preferred.
• Senior Controller or Fund Accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of real estate investment structures.
• Experience managing fund administrators.
• Ability to assess materiality and risk.
• Multi-task across products, fund structures, and reporting timelines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with third-party fund administrators and ensuring accurate reporting packages, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Coordinating with third parties on acquisitions, dispositions, investor flows, and other fund-related matters.
• Reviewing and approving fund-level financial statements, including NAV, fees, waterfalls, and valuations.
• Ensuring compliance with fund governing documents and assisting with fund lifecycle events.
• Maintaining internal accounting policies in line with GAAP/IFRS and other standards.
• Providing input on fund structures, valuation methodologies, and NAV metrics.
• Assisting with investor RFPs/DDQs.
• Overseeing accounting for carry vehicles and tracking allocations and vesting.
• Supporting credit facility management, covenant tracking, and debt sizing.
• Reviewing inputs for performance returns and tax filings with tax/finance teams.
• Collaborating with portfolio, investment, legal, compliance, and investor relations teams.
