Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks a senior investment fund financial reporting lead to work with asset management clients on financial reporting engagements, reviews, and remediation projects. You will lead fund reporting engagements and manage multiple clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CPA or IFAC qualification, 8+ years of fund reporting experience, and strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
8+ years of investment fund financial reporting experience, with at least 3 years leading teams and delivering across concurrent projects.
Deep technical expertise in investment fund financial reporting across US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP; strong client relationship management.

Responsibilities

Lead fund reporting engagements/projects and maintain accountability for quality, risk, profitability and delivery.
Review financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit packs for completeness and consistency.
Review complex accounting and disclosure matters (valuation, financial instruments, consolidation, related parties, going concern).
Own and develop senior client relationships, provide trusted advice and identify new business opportunities.
Provide leadership on complex accounting, regulatory and reporting matters across jurisdictions and asset classes.
Define AI-enabled financial reporting vision and roadmap in line with firm strategy and client needs.
Drive priority AI initiatives and oversee adoption, benefits and risks.
Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and mentoring to improve team delivery.
