Job summary

Invesco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to manage financial reporting and fund administration for real estate and private credit investments. The role focuses on NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting, serving as a bridge between internal teams and external fund administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/chartered accountant preferred.
• Accounting experience in a Senior Controller or Fund Accounting role.
• Strong understanding of Institutional Real Estate investment structures (open-end and closed-end funds, REITs, joint ventures).
• Experience managing fund administrators and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund administration and financial reporting packages, NAV calculations, capital calls and investor reporting.
• Coordinate with third parties on fund-related matters (acquisitions, dispositions, investor flows).
• Review and approve fund-level financial statements and key components (NAV, fees, distributions, valuations).
• Ensure compliance with fund governing documents (LPAs, subscription agreements).
• Maintain accounting policies in line with GAAP/IFRS and other standards.
• Contribute to fund structure valuation and NAV methodologies.
• Assist with investor RFPs/DDQs and carry vehicle accounting.
• Support credit facility management and debt sizing discussions.
• Provide financial analysis for investment performance and budgeting.
