Job summary

Quest Recruitment are seeking a senior fund accounting professional to join a leading financial services organisation's Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Dublin. You will lead a team, oversee a portfolio of funds, and own key accounting and reporting deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fund accounting, with 3+ years in Private Equity, strong knowledge of PE fund structures, and proven leadership to mentor staff and manage client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in fund accounting, accounting operations or a similar environment.
• 3+ years' experience within Private Equity (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity fund structures and accounting processes.
• Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of Private Equity funds and manage client deliverables.
• Lead and develop a team of fund accounting professionals.
• Mentor team members through training, development and ongoing support.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting requirements.
• Manage Private Equity capital activity, including capital calls, distributions and transfers.
• Review management fee and waterfall/carry calculations.
• Prepare and review accounts and financial statements for Private Equity structures.
• Review LPAs, PPMs and other relevant fund documentation.
• Monitor team performance, service levels and agreed deadlines.
• Support the onboarding of new fund structures and clients.
• Contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service.

About You

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable.
