Our client is a growing medical device business expanding their Irish commercial team. With an established presence across hospitals and clinics throughout Ireland, they are now looking to add a Sales Representative to support continued growth across the island, including Northern Ireland. Full onboarding training covering product knowledge and sales techniques is provided from day one.
This is a field-based Sales Representative role covering Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a preference for candidates based in or near Dublin. The role combines new business development with ongoing account management across a portfolio of hospitals and clinics, both public and private.
You will be responsible for conducting product presentations, building and maintaining relationships with key contacts, and managing the full sales process from initial engagement through to close. You will report directly into the Sales Manager and be fully supported with training and product knowledge from the outset.
We are open to a range of backgrounds for this role. Candidates with medical sales experience are strongly preferred, though we will also consider nurses looking to transition into a commercial role or strong recent graduates with a relevant degree and a genuine drive for sales.
Regardless of background, you should be proactive, adaptable and an excellent communicator with a quick-learning mindset and a genuine hunger for sales. The ability to engage credibly with hospital administrators and procurement teams is important, as is a self-motivated and open-minded approach to the role.
A full, clean driving licence is required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing medical device business at an exciting stage of their expansion, with full training provided and real earning potential for a driven and commercially minded individual.
