The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Sales Account Manager to drive the growth of innovative medical equipment and healthcare solutions across hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Dublin and the West of Ireland.

This is a consultative, field-based sales role that blends technical expertise with commercial success. You'll work closely with healthcare professionals, engineers, and procurement teams to deliver solutions that enhance infection prevention, improve clinical workflows, and support operational excellence. The successful candidate will manage an established territory, develop new business opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospitals and healthcare organisations.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clinicians, sterile services and endoscopy teams, infection prevention specialists, biomedical engineers, estates and facilities teams, and procurement professionals.
  • Deliver against sales targets and KPIs while expanding market presence across the assigned territory.
  • Act as the technical expert for customers, providing advice on product functionality, applications, and workflow improvements.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and solution-based consultations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Support tender submissions and manage procurement opportunities within both public and private healthcare sectors.
  • Coordinate product installations and deliver training to clinical and technical users to ensure successful implementation.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with relevant regulatory, ethical, and industry requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support continued business growth.
About You

Essential Experience
  • Proven success in medical device, healthcare technology, hospital equipment, or capital equipment sales.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of decontamination, endoscopy, sterile services, infection prevention, or biomedical engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare procurement and tender processes within public and private healthcare settings.
Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Confident engaging with both technical and clinical audiences.
  • Consultative, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing a geographically dispersed territory.
  • Comfortable discussing equipment integration, digital workflows, and reporting solutions with healthcare IT and engineering teams.
  • Full, clean driver's licence.
