Job summary

Apleona GmbH in Dublin 14 is seeking a KAMS Commercial Analyst to oversee weekly and monthly profitability figures for designated client accounts, and to provide timely, robust management information for commercial decisions.

You will support annual budgets and reforecasts, monitor margins, and collaborate with operations, finance and commercial teams to improve contract performance and profitability. This role is office-based in Dublin 14.

Qualifications

• Third level business/commerce degree preferred.
• Excel modelling experience; Navision knowledge advantageous.
• Commercial analytics experience with strong influencing skills.
• Excellent PC literacy and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly and monthly profitability figures for designated client accounts.
• Monitor and improve customer KPIs and profitability.
• Provide management information for informed commercial decisions.
• Manage margin protection and track account growth.
• Support annual budgets and re-forecasts, with reporting and monitoring against budget.
• Collaborate with operational, finance and commercial teams to improve contract performance and profitability.
• Develop and maintain a detailed cost analysis report for customers.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through review and reconciliation.
• Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across accounts and reporting.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Shift Pattern:08:30 -17:00

Main duties and responsibilities

• Oversee and follow up on all weekly and monthly profitability figures associated with your designated client accounts.
• Overseeing the monitoring and improving Customer KPI’s/Profitability.
• Provide management information for improved commercial decision making - that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful, and robust.
• Margin protection and tracking of account growth. Maintained through overseeing and conducting monthly commercial performance meetings.
• Responsible for the Annual Account Budgets & any re-forecasts required. Ensure reporting and monitoring of performance against the budget.
• Partner with operational, finance, and commercial teams to provide financial insight, resolve commercial issues, and support improvements in contract performance and profitability. Oversee the development and maintain a detailed cost analysis report as required by customers and business to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of commercial and financial information through the review, validation, and reconciliation of financial data, investigating variances and resolving issues to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
• Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management, and financial reporting.
• Preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally, a Third Level Business/Accounting or Commerce Degree
• Excel modelling experience and working knowledge of Navision an advantage.
• Previous experience in commercial analytics and strong influencing skills
• Proven track record of results and excellent PC literacy skills required.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high level commitment to success.
