Job summary

Apleona GmbH in Dublin is seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to oversee the analytical running of dedicated contracts across Ireland, collaborating with finance, commercial and operations teams to drive profitability and accuracy.

You will manage weekly and monthly profitability, KPI monitoring, cost analysis, and budgeting processes, coordinating with accounts, operations, marketing, sales and procurement to deliver robust financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Ideally a third level business degree or part qualified accountant.
• Excel modelling experience is required.
• Experience in commercial analytics.
• Strong influencing skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of Navision is advantageous.
• Proven track record of delivering results.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with ability to manage several priorities and maintain flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and follow up on all weekly and monthly profitability figures for designated client accounts.
• Monitor and improve Customer KPI’s/Profitability.
• Provide management information for improved commercial decision making that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful and robust.
• Protect margins and track account growth via monthly commercial performance meetings.
• Manage Annual Account Budgets and any re-forecasts; ensure reporting against budget.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Sales and Procurement.
• Develop and maintain detailed cost analysis reports as required by customer and business for accuracy.
• Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts and reporting.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Financial Analyst to oversee the analytical running of dedicated contracts across Ireland, working closely with the wider commercial, finance and operations teams.

Location: Dublin 14

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

• Oversee and follow up on all weekly and monthly profitability figures associated with designated client accounts.
• Overseeing the monitoring and improving of Customer KPI’s/Profitability.
• Provide management information for improved commercial decision making - that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful and robust.
• Margin protection and tracking of account growth. Maintained through overseeing and conducting monthly commercial performance meetings.
• Responsible for the Annual Account Budgets & any re-forecasts required. Ensure reporting and monitoring of performance against budget.
• Role interacts and co-ordinates activities with Accounts, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Sales, Procurement
• Oversee the develop and maintain detailed cost analysis report as required by customer and business to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
• Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management and financial reporting.
• Preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
