Job summary

Freeburn Transport Ltd. is seeking a motivated Junior Transport Planner to join our growing team in Ireland.

You will work with experienced planners to coordinate daily transport activities, plan efficient delivery and collection schedules, and communicate with drivers and customers to keep operations safe, efficient and on time. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient transport planning, providing updates, assisting with daily operations, and allocating vehicles and drivers.

• Help ensure transport is planned efficiently, taking account of time, distance, vehicle capacity and customer requirements.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week. May include additional weekend hours as and when required.

Working alongside experienced planners, you will learn how to coordinate daily transport activities, plan efficient delivery and collection schedules, communicate with drivers and customers, and help ensure that operations run safely, efficiently and on time.
