Job summary

Kearys Motor Group in Cork seeks a Junior Service Advisor to join its growing team at Kearys, Kinsale Road. You will greet customers, diagnose vehicle issues from descriptions and conditions, and translate concerns into actionable work orders for technicians.

Responsibilities include ordering parts, ensuring timely delivery, and enforcing quality standards while handling invoicing. A strong emphasis on customer service, active listening, and using customer data to enhance the service experience

Qualifications

• Develop natural conversation to build rapport with customers.
• Active listening to understand customer needs and motivations.
• Present products and services enthusiastically and with conviction.
• Explain complex technical information in a way that can be understood by the customer.
• Previous customer service experience is desired.
• Ideally have a technical understanding/background.
• Full, clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service from intake to vehicle release.
• Determine and diagnose vehicle issues based on customer description and vehicle condition.
• Translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians.
• Order necessary parts and ensure delivery to technicians.
• Ensure that automotive work meets company quality standards.
• Invoice and collect payment for services rendered.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services.
• Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases.
