Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Limerick to develop commercial experience under an experienced team. You will work alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors on subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and cost reporting across a range of construction projects.

With a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying and 2+ years’ graduate experience, you’ll contribute to final accounts and measurements while benefiting from structured graduate development and long-term career

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Graduate to 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience.
• Main contractor experience beneficial but not essential.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Good understanding of construction and commercial processes.
• Motivated to develop within a main contractor environment.
• Valid working rights within Ireland / Europe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and variations.
• Contribute to cost reporting, measurement and final accounts.
• Support senior QS on project cost control across multiple sites.

SSA is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of an established main building contractor for a position based in Limerick.

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their commercial experience within an experienced and supportive team. You will work alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors and gain hands‑on exposure to subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting, measurement and final accounts across a range of construction projects.
