Job summary

Junior Quantity Surveyor is required for a growing construction management company delivering residential, commercial and fit-out projects across Ireland. You will develop your skills across a range of projects and work closely with project managers and senior QS to ensure client satisfaction and cost control.

Role offers mentorship, exposure to diverse contracts, and opportunities for professional development within a friendly, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years' experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of construction methods and contracts.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
• Assist in procuring subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and monitor project cost reports.
• Help manage variations and change orders.
• Maintain accurate records and project documentation.
• Attend site visits and project meetings as required.
• Work closely with project managers and senior quantity surveyors to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience across a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full driving licence preferred.
