We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation for a Junior HR Administrator to join its HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in Human Resources while gaining broad exposure to the employee lifecycle across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will support the HR team in delivering a high-quality HR service, with hands‑on involvement across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR systems, payroll administration, learning and development, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities for new employees across Europe.
- Maintain accurate employee records, update HR systems and prepare HR documentation and correspondence.
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including offers, probation reviews, performance reviews, promotions, salary changes, contracts, HR letters and employee departures.
- Support learning and development activities and initiatives.
- Maintain and update job specifications.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Support employee wellbeing initiatives and employee support programmes.
- Assist with employee engagement activities and company events.
- Support the delivery of HR projects and initiatives.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR team.
- Handle confidential employee information appropriately and in line with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Carry out other HR administrative duties as required.
Candidate Profile
- Degree, diploma or qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Ideally, 1+ years' administrative experience, preferably within HR or an office administration environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
