Job summary

Jones Engineering are hiring a Junior Accounts Payable specialist to join our Dublin team on-site at Pembroke Road, Dublin 4. You will support the AP function in a high-volume multinational environment, handling invoices, vendor queries and expense processing under the AP Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, a third level qualification, strong Excel and communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
• Third level qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a multinational environment with high invoice volumes.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
• Strong Excel skills and overall computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices/credit notes and expenses using SAP system.
• Deal with vendor queries in a timely manner.
• Complete vendor reconciliations.
• Process monthly employee expenses.
• Prepare payment proposals for payment run.
• Process changes to vendor account setup.
• Work with purchasing and commercial teams to resolve invoice issues.
• Ensure general ledger postings are coded correctly.
• Support ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Description

Jones Engineering are looking to hire an AP Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role based onsite at our headquarters in Pembroke Road, Dublin 4.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Accounts Payable process within a high-volume, multinational environment. They will join the AP finance team and work within a team and report to the Accounts Payable Manager

In this role, You will;

• Process invoices/credit notes and expenses using SAP system
• Dealing with vendor queries in a timely manner
• Completion of vendor reconciliations
• Process monthly employee expenses
• Preparation of payment proposals for payment run
• Process changes to vendor account set up
• Work with purchasing and commercial team to resolve invoice issues
• Ensure general ledger postings are coded correctly
• Ad-hoc projects as required
