Job summary

Focus Resourcing partners with an established technology and infrastructure services business operating across the retail sector in Ireland. We are seeking an IT Service Engineer to join their Engineering team and welcome applications from experienced Field Service Engineers as well as technically strong candidates aiming to progress in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar field-based IT services role.
• Experience working across multiple customer sites.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A full, clean Irish or European driving licence.
• The right to work full-time in Ireland, including a valid visa where applicable.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A professional, reliable and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site maintenance and technical services.
• Carry out projects, break/fix, IMAC activities, software upgrades and equipment decommissioning.
• Complete general remedial and shop-fitting works where required.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, Helpdesk and internal Project/Field Service teams.
• Handle payment devices in accordance with PCI and P2P requirements following appropriate training.
• Record stock usage, equipment deployment and service activity accurately.
• Complete relevant documentation and provide regular updates through mobile applications.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an IT Service Engineer to join their Engineering team. We're interested in hearing from experienced Field Service Engineers as well as candidates with strong technical experience looking to progress their career in a field-based role.
