Job summary

Celtic Careers is seeking an experienced IT Field Service Technician to join a growing technology services business delivering IT infrastructure and field services across Ireland.

You will be on-site delivering a varied mix of maintenance, deployments and remedial works, with a strong emphasis on customer service, safety and on-time delivery. The role involves travel across Ireland and requires full eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar IT/Field Services role.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full clean Irish or European driving licence.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance, break/fix and troubleshooting.
• IMAC and equipment deployment projects.
• Software upgrades and hardware decommissioning.
• Infrastructure and project-related works.
• Equipment installation and remedial works.
• Accurate stock and equipment management.
• Work closely with Helpdesk and Project Management teams.
• Provide excellent customer service on every site visit.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards.

We’re currently working with a well-established and growing technology services business that delivers IT infrastructure, projects and field services to major organisations across Ireland.

You’ll be out on the road delivering a varied mix of IT and technical services, including:

• On-site maintenance, break/fix and troubleshooting
• IMAC and equipment deployment projects
• Software upgrades and hardware decommissioning
• Infrastructure and project-related works
• Equipment installation and remedial works
• Accurate stock and equipment management
• Working closely with Helpdesk and Project Management teams
• Providing excellent customer service on every site visit
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to required standards

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar IT/Field Services role
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A full clean Irish or European driving licence
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Flexibility regarding working hours and travel
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
