Qualifications

IT Project Manager (ERP) Contract Role ( Hybrid)

Our client based in West Cork is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of two strategic, business-critical IT transformation projects. These initiatives will have a significant impact across multiple business functions, making this an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile change programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering ERP implementations, with experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience delivering projects involving IT/OT (Information Technology/Operational Technology) network infrastructure and integration is also essential.

• Lead the end-to-end planning of projects, defining scope, deliverables, activities, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage the delivery of ERP and IT/OT-related projects, ensuring effective coordination between business, IT, engineering, and operational teams.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
• Drive accountability for project milestones, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business, ensuring clear communication, effective requirement gathering, and regular project updates.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet agreed business objectives and quality expectations.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex IT-enabled projects with a proven track record of successful delivery.
• Hands-on experience delivering ERP implementations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing IT/OT network or infrastructure projects, with a good understanding of the integration between enterprise IT systems and operational technology within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Engineering, Automation, and third-party vendors.
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and adapting to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build effective cross-functional relationships.
