Job summary

E-Frontiers in Dublin is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Delivery Manager to drive delivery across two cross-functional Agile teams in a hybrid setup. You will partner with Product and Technology leadership to ensure forecasts, capacity and releases align with business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 6-9+ years' experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, Technical Project Management or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong experience delivering technology products or software development initiatives.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Lean delivery methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing dependencies, risks, impediments, capacity and release planning.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
  • Experience using delivery metrics, data and KPIs to support forecasting and decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Product, Technology and Business leaders.
  • Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify complex delivery issues, understand the root cause and implement practical solutions.
  • Experience working across multiple teams in a complex enterprise environment.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with a focus on improving delivery effectiveness and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Technology leadership to translate product vision and business outcomes into achievable delivery plans.
  • Develop short- and long-term delivery plans aligned to quarterly and annual commitments.
  • Lead prioritisation, planning, estimation, forecasting and release planning.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure issues are identified and resolved early.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and elevate significant risks appropriately.
  • Use historical delivery data to support forecasting, capacity planning and future delivery decisions.
  • Drive effective Agile delivery across two cross-functional teams.
  • Lead backlog refinement, planning and delivery sessions in partnership with Product and Technology stakeholders.
  • Ensure teams maintain well-prioritised and sufficiently refined backlogs.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams, products and stakeholders.
  • Support successful product and technology releases.
  • Ensure stakeholders have clear expectations around scope, timelines, risks and delivery progress.
  • Remove impediments and minimise distractions and context switching for delivery teams.
  • Monitor delivery against milestones, capacity, forecasts and expected business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery predictability, engineering quality and team effectiveness.

IT Project Manager (Agile)

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Delivery Manager to join a high-performing technology organisation supporting product development within the Banking & Money Movement space.

Working closely with Product and Technology leadership, you will be responsible for driving delivery across two cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring that priorities, dependencies, risks, capacity and releases are effectively managed.

What You'll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning

  • Analyse historical delivery performance and use insights to improve forecasting and planning.
  • Ensure appropriate Incident, Change and Problem Management processes are understood and followed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with teams to implement practical improvements.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as a trusted partner to Product Leaders, Technology teams and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coach and support teams in Agile and modern delivery practices.
  • Help resolve conflicts, remove barriers and build strong working relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider delivery community through mentoring, knowledge sharing and best-practice development.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and predictable delivery.
What We're Looking For
