Qualifications

• Experience selling technical or engineered products and solutions
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into commercial opportunities
• Confidence engaging with engineers and other technical decision‑makers
• Strong consultative selling and relationship‑building skills
• Experience managing projects, specifications or longer sales cycles
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to developing opportunities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal technical teams

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identify opportunities to grow key accounts and develop new business
• Understand customer requirements and technical specifications
• Recommend appropriate technical solutions based on customer applications
• Engage with engineers, electrical contractors, consultants, procurement, operations, IT and senior decision-makers
• Manage opportunities from initial discussion through to quotation, negotiation and close
• Work with internal engineering and technical teams to deliver the right solution
• Manage your territory, pipeline and customer activity with autonomy
• Develop long‑term strategic customer relationships
