Job summary

Harris Group, Ireland’s leading distributor of commercial vehicles and aftersales services, seeks a Dealer Development Manager to drive growth across Irish retail outlets and improve dealer profitability.

Reporting to the Head of Dealer Operations, you will develop the dealer network, monitor performance, provide training, and lead market analysis to meet defined targets and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and dealership operations.
• Experience with EV market and routes to sale.
• Understanding of vehicle funding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the network of Irish dealerships and act as main point of contact.
• Monitor dealer performance metrics and drive improvements to hit targets.
• Collaborate with dealers on business plans, forecasts, and marketing.
• Coordinate and deliver dealer training programs and workshops.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and trends.
• Ensure dealer compliance with brand standards and guidelines.
• Identify and recruit new dealers in strategic areas.
• Maintain open communication and promote promotions and policy updates.
• Generate and present performance reports to senior management.
