Job summary

Harris Group, Ireland's leading distributor of commercial vehicles and aftersales, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive new business across Ireland. You will build a strong sales pipeline, target fleet, SME and strategic accounts, and grow revenue through consultative selling and long-term relationships.

You will manage proposals, tenders, and pricing with internal teams, while maintaining accurate CRM forecasts and delivering sustainable growth across vehicle, parts and aftersales

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally within automotive, fleet, mobility or related sector.
• Proven track record of prospecting, developing a qualified pipeline and achieving sales targets.
• Knowledge of EV market, fleet requirements, vehicle funding and routes to market.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new fleet, SME, corporate and strategic customers across Ireland.
• Own a self-generated sales pipeline from prospecting to close and onboarding.
• Develop territory plans and align with company objectives to grow revenue and market share.
• Understand each prospect’s business to create practical, commercially viable solutions with internal teams.
