Job summary

DM Financial, a growing international financial services firm, invites applications for a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager in Ireland. You will prepare and review financial statements for investment funds under US GAAP and IFRS, and take ownership of the financial reporting process.

You will liaise with auditors, administrators and investment managers, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development and Cork City office expansion.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or near-qualified).
• 3+ years of financial reporting/audit experience in funds or financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; DataSnipper experience is a plus.
• Team collaboration, mentoring, and ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds and other entities under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage the financial reporting process and liaise with auditors, administrators, and investment managers.
• Take ownership of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Support senior management on ad hoc reporting and regulatory projects.
• Research accounting standards and resolve complex queries.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Review and edit financial documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining clear team communication.
• Travel internationally and contribute to Cork City office expansion.
